Brutalist Desert Oasis

Set within an unforgiving desert plain, the house is conceived as a single board-formed concrete mass, split by a cool internal courtyard that gathers shade and a thin sheet of water.

Deep openings frame the horizon while shielding the interior from the low sun. The raw concrete is left to record the grain of its timber formwork, ageing slowly with the land around it.
